Juniper Gardens, a brand-new rental property in Saskatoon, will add 162 pet-friendly suites to the local rental market. Owned and operated by family-run company Broadstreet Properties, Juniper Gardens is located in the residential neighbourhood of Evergreen, surrounded by nature and close to a variety of shops, restaurants, schools and some of the city’s best outdoor areas.
“When we decided to open another property in Saskatoon, we knew that we wanted to create a rental community near parks, green spaces and pet-friendly amenities,” says Braden Elke, Broadstreet Director of Operations. “The Evergreen neighbourhood offers a quiet, friendly community, while being close to downtown and easily accessible from all areas of the city.”
Tenants at Juniper Gardens have access to the City of Saskatoon via McOrmond Drive, College Drive and the Yellowhead Highway. Connected to the rest of the city by a series of multi-use trail systems, Juniper Gardens’ tenants can enjoy local parks, such as Richards Park, Funk Park and Forest Park, which is home to the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo.
Juniper Gardens houses one-, two- and three-bedroom modern suites with an on-site community lounge, fitness centre, community garden, dog run and three dog washes, keyless entry and more. Broadstreet’s open-concept suites also feature walk-in closets, a fully equipped kitchen and in-suite laundry. In addition to the on-site manager and maintenance technician, tenants have access to Broadstreet’s 24/7 tenant support team.
“We want tenants to feel at home, and part of that means having access to someone if they need help or have questions,” says Elke. “Our 24/7 team is based out of our Home Office in Campbell River with a Regional Office in Winnipeg, so tenants know they are always dealing directly with a Broadstreet employee when they reach out for help.”
